This is the company. One person. An artist, Rachael (A.K.A Bassé) and returning skater, backed by an amazing EKH-O sponsored skate team which you can find out more about on this website.
I used to skate as a teenager every day, and now, in my 30s, I’ve come back to it with full passion. EKH-O was never planned as a brand. At first, the boards were simply canvases. They were a way to express freedom, movement, and rebellion against the corporate culture I was challenging in my art through my 'souls for salaries' series. But when I shared the board designs with the skate community, their response was so loud that EKH-O naturally came to life. My arty boards are professionally made and printed in the UK by BIG AYE Skateboards, on high quality, and ultra high concave decks, which are 100% Canadian maple, 7-ply.

EKH-O MISSION
EKH-O brings together art and skateboarding through original deck designs by founder and artist Bassé.
Each graphic grows out of Souls For Salaries, a personal body of work shaped by pressure, identity, burnout, and resistance to corporate life. The result is a collection of decks made to be ridden, collected, and connected to.
These are not throwaway graphics. They are story-led boards made for skaters who want something with character.
